Emotional Freedom Tapping

Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Tapping is a very gentle healing technique combining the use of finger tapping on acupoints ( acupuncture points) on the face and body  using specific language to focus on particular negative emotions or uncomfortable feelings. Its aim is to find relief from emotional and physical pain symptoms and provide tools to support a healing journey and make lasting positive changes in our lives.

Explaining how and why EFT works is subject to debate and there are different perspectives on why this technique works well. For detailed information on how EFT works, please use the link below headed by Peta Stapleton Clinical and Health Psychologist and Associate Professor in Psychology at Bond University in Australia

Susan Kinniburgh testimonial

'I began my journey with EFT after a very traumatic time which left me with crippling anxiety and negative emotions. This trauma raised other traumas from my childhood, they all seemed to rear up like some badly put together horror movie. I am so grateful to have come to learn about EFT, it  helped me so much so... I became a practitioner.'

I offer one to one person centred EFT where I compassionately support clients to work towards releasing areas of emotional and or physical discomfort or distress,  such as anxiety, anger, stress, discontent, pain, limiting beliefs and work towards healing trauma
